Leila

Leila, a water enthusiast, believes all kids should learn to swim for comfort and safety. She finds joy in learning new things and earning her own money. Passionate about art, particularly painting and drawing, Leila enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves reading to Willow and appreciates ‘On the Night You Were Born.’ Her favourite movie is “Titanic,” and Garfield is her favourite character. As a Pisces, Leila likely brings creativity and empathy to her pursuits.

Liam

Liam values swimming for its survival benefits. He enjoyed teaching sports to primary school kids during his year 11 and 12 course. A diehard Manchester United fan, he stays committed to watching games. In his leisure, Liam plays soccer, goes to the gym, and hangs out with friends. “Blade Runner 2049” is his favourite movie, and he shares a passion for soccer, gym workouts, and Spiderman as a Virgo.

Sarah

Sarah believes swimming is more than just technique—it’s a valuable, life-saving skill that supports personal growth, discipline, and mental and physical health. She finds it incredibly fulfilling to teach kids skills they’ll carry for life. A creative soul, Sarah writes her own music, sings, and plays guitar (often seen humming whatever’s stuck in her head). She enjoys going to the gym, walking along the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite book is Many Lives, Many Masters for its fascinating look at past lives and healing through regression therapy. She loves How to Train Your Dragon, enjoys reading, basketball, and swimming at the beach, and is a fan of Tom from Tom and Jerry. Sarah is an Aquarius.

Rachelle

Rachelle believes that basic swimming skills are essential for both survival and enjoyment, especially in a hot country where time is often spent at the pool or beach. She loves watching kids grow in confidence as they improve their swimming. Last year, Rachelle won a Deadlift competition at her local gym. She enjoys walking her dog, playing board games, spending time with family, and reading the Plum series by Janet Evanovich for its lighthearted humor. Her favorite movie is Free Guy, and she also likes going to the gym and Peppa Pig. Rachelle’s star sign is Cancer

Rachael believes swimming lessons help carers and children become more aware of water dangers and build confidence. She enjoys helping kids overcome their fear of water. Passionate about kickboxing, she loves going to the gym or beach with her family. Not a fan of sitting still to read, Rachael enjoys The Usual Suspects and likes Lola Bunny. She is a Sagittarius.

Mackenzie

Mac believes swimming is crucial, especially in a water-surrounded country like ours. At Just Like Fish, she finds joy in kids’ progress.

She used to sing in a band. In her free time, Mac enjoys sports, exercise, and time with loved ones. Her favorite book is “The Hobbit,” and she hopes to visit its filming locations. She’s also a Harry Potter fan and loves playing various sports. Daffy Duck is her favorite cartoon character, and as a Taurus, she’s likely determined and appreciates the finer things in life.

Kate

Kate believes swimming is a life-saving skill that can rescue someone from drowning. She values creating a fun and safe environment and is a fast learner. Kate enjoys playing with her sister, swimming, and loves The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Her favorite movie is Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, she’s a fan of Hello Kitty, and she’s a Leo.

Piper

Piper values swimming as a life-saving skill that builds confidence, promotes health, and teaches discipline. She has experience at Kmart, connecting with regular customers, and at Camp Wright, where she built strong bonds with campers and friends. A blackbelt, Piper enjoys spending time with her family and friends—especially her nieces and nephews—along with weaving, beach trips, and hikes. Her favorite book is The Hate U Give for its powerful message, her go-to movie is Disney’s Hercules, she loves Hello Kitty, and she’s a Pisces.

Anita

Anita believes swimming is a lifelong skill that promotes health and enjoyment. She loves working at Just Like Fish Swim School, where she helps kids gain confidence in the water while having fun, supported by a great team. Anita enjoys watching UFC, spending time with her partner, and traveling. She’s a fan of Donkey from Shrek and is a Capricorn.

Olly

Olly values swimming as a crucial life-saving skill, especially in unpredictable water conditions. A former Just Like Fish swimmer, he enjoys working in groups and applying his skills to teaching others. He loves rugby league, touch football, going to the beach with friends, and camping with family. His favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, and he enjoys the Grown Ups movies. A longtime fan of Bugs Bunny, Olly is a Gemini.

Chloe

Tiarna

Tiarna believes swimming is a basic life skill everyone should learn for safety, health, fitness, and enjoyment. She loves taking on new challenges and improving her skills, especially when she’s helping her team or customers in a positive way. Currently halfway through completing her Certificate III in Fitness through school, Tiarna enjoys socialising with friends, going to the gym, and listening to music. Her favourite book is The Housemaid for its suspenseful twists, she loves Mamma Mia, adores Minnie Mouse, and is a Cancer.

Isabella

Izzy believes swimming helps keep people safe and healthy around water. She enjoys improving her skills and has won a national title in karate as a white belt. In her free time, Izzy loves spending time with friends and family, dancing, and practising karate. She enjoys The Hunger Games for its rich lore, loves Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, is a fan of Lagoona Blue from Monster High, and is a Gemini.

Lily

Lily believes learning to swim is one of the most important skills a child can have, as water safety is something you never realise you need until you do. She loves being part of each child’s swimming journey and watching their progress and confidence grow. Lily enjoys playing the guitar and piano, going to the beach, fishing, and spending time with her dog, Tigger. She also has a talent for numbers and can solve a Rubik’s Cube. Her favourite book is How to Make Your Brain Your Best Friend by Rachel Barr, reflecting her interest in neuroscience, and she loved the recent Barbie movie for its deeper meaning. Her favourite cartoon character is Smurfette from The Smurfs. Lily is a Virgo.

Alison

Ally believes swimming lessons are essential for young children, helping them stay safe while building confidence in the water. She loves how rewarding the role is—teaching important skills while seeing kids have fun and parents learn the value of water safety too. A theatre and music enthusiast, Alison grew up performing for family, friends, and community events, which helped build her confidence in public speaking. In her spare time she enjoys singing, swimming, snorkelling, camping, fishing, travelling, and spending time with her dogs and God-kids. She also enjoys visiting the theatre and keeping in touch with her brother in the Air Force. Her favourite book is Too Much Is Not Enough by Andrew Rannells, she loves The Great Gatsby, is a fan of Stolas from Helluva Boss, and is a Sagittarius.

Codi

Codi believes learning to swim is a fundamental life skill that can help save children’s lives while also improving their confidence and motor skills. She loves watching children progress in the water and seeing how proud they become as they achieve new milestones during lessons. A creative person at heart, Codi enjoys painting, drawing, gardening, walking her dog, and spending time outdoors in her spare time. Her favourite book is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss because of its inspiring message about continuing forward through life’s challenges. She also loves the movie Secret Lives of Orangutans, and Simba is her favourite cartoon character. As a Pisces, Codi brings creativity, kindness, and care to the JLF team.

Mykaela

Mykaela believes learning to swim is an important life skill that can help keep children safe in unexpected situations. She enjoys working with others, learning new things, and challenging herself while helping children build confidence in the water. In her spare time, Mykaela loves spending time with friends, watching movies and TV shows, and building Lego. She also enjoys playing netball and touch football and has a unique hobby of collecting coins. Her favourite movie is Fast & Furious, and Mickey Mouse is her favourite cartoon character. As an Aquarius, Mykaela brings a fun and friendly energy to the JLF team.

Jaime-lee

Jaime-Lee believes swimming is an important life skill and loves helping infants and children learn and grow in confidence in the water. She enjoys teaching and finds great joy in being part of each child’s swimming journey. A proud mum of two, Jaime-Lee loves spending quality time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding, going to the beach, and making special memories with loved ones. Her favourite book is It Ends With Us because of its message of strength and resilience, and she loves the movie Matilda. Tinkerbell is her favourite cartoon character, and as an Aquarius, Jaime-Lee brings warmth and care to the JLF team.
